FP&A Analyst

Reports to: CFO

Qualifications:

  1. Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (Required).
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Finance (Preferred).
  • CMA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA certification (Highly valued).
  1. Experience:
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in project-based accounting, cost control, and financial modeling.
  • Experience working with Saudi and Egyptian financial regulations is a plus.
  1. Technical & Software Skills:
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel & Power financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with e-invoicing and taxation systems in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
  1. Soft Skills & Language:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning & Budgeting:
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and long-term financial plans for construction projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of project cash flow forecasts and funding needs.
  • Work with project managers and procurement teams to ensure cost control and budget adherence.
  1. Financial Modeling & Forecasting:
  • Create financial models to analyze profitability, cost structures, and project feasibility.
  • Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing for major construction projects.
  • Forecast working capital needs, including accounts payable, receivable, and cash flows.
  1. Variance Analysis & Performance Reporting:
  • Analyze budget vs. actual financial performance and provide insights on deviations.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and investors.
  • Track KPIs such as EBITDA, cost per project, revenue margins, and cost overruns.
  1. Cost Control & Efficiency Improvement:
  • Work with procurement and operations teams to optimize material and labor costs.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies for financial performance.
  1. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Communication:
  • Provide financial insights to senior management and project teams.
  • Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and investors for financing needs.
  • Support cross-functional teams in strategic financial decision-making.
